I would highly recommend Top Notch..what can I say they were 'Top Notch'. Barb was prompt in her response and got us on the expected schedule. On the day of the inspection, Carl had arrived early, he was thorough, and provided insights and shared his wealth of wisdom on not just property findings but also future care. He issued his report on the agreed committed date. They stand by their commitments. It was a stress free process.

Top Notch Home Inspection was the best! I highly recommend them to anyone. Buying a new home is such a stressful process, and I really appreciated that Top Notch Home Inspections helped reduce that stress by being very responsive and providing us with a very detailed report and recommendations for Sewer Scope and Oil Tank Sweep. Matt and Tom came to the home to do the inspection. They arrived on time and did a very thorough job inspecting everything and they also took their time explaining what they saw and what needed to be done. They were both very nice to work with. Great team of inspectors. I added tank sweep, radon and sewer scope. Im glad I did as the inspection brought some serious issues to light. The inspection report gave me the proof and ability to walk away from an expensive issue ridden house. I will definitely use for my next purchase.

Top Notch was recommended to us by our realtor while my husband and I were shopping around for an inspection company. After speaking with Barb, our search was over. We immediately knew Top Notch was the company for us. Our situation was unique as we were doing inspections during attorney review. The process felt fast-paced and intimidating for us as first time homebuyers. Barb and Jim were nothing but reassuring and became a welcome calming presence for us. From the get-go they were responsive, flexible in scheduling, helpful with recommendations, well-informed, and above all -- honest. During the actual inspection, Jim and his team (Rich and Cory) were thorough and patient in explaining everything to me so I wouldn't be confused or overwhelmed while reading their report. The report itself was expertly created and a great resource for us as we negotiated with the sellers. Jim's report also encouraged us to get a more comprehensive look at particular areas.
