Gallo Rosso Bar & Restaurant

The service was poor. The food was horrible. The salad with house dressing tasted like lettuce with nothing but vinegar on it. The kids did not like the food either, the cheese sticks were super salty and tasted horrible. The grilled cheese was also bad. We will not be going there again.

Excellent food, nice open atmosphere. Outdoor dining area is fantastic, too. We have tried many of the chicken dishes and they have all been outstanding. Take-out sandwiches are delicious, as are the salads. We have ordered trays for parties as well, and have been very pleased. Definitely recommend.

Love Gallo Rosso. It has become our go to place in Flemington. Their shrimp & avacado Bruschetta app is to die for as well as the stuffed mushrooms. I had the grilled scallops Friday night and they were outstanding as well. My wife and I enjoy eating in the bar area where the atmosphere is a little livlier. The staff is all very friendly and welcoming, just like at the Red Rooster! Keep up the good work!

Wow. this place is so much better since switching from Bensi to Gallo Rossi. The food was fresh and served hot. Great chicken francese, pizza was great and my eggplant parm was so fresh. You know they are good when the Calamari was freshly breaded and tender. Portions and price were dead on. I tired of taking the family to a chaotic pizzeria for dinner. This place is clearly the best family Italian restaurant in town.

First time at Gallo I had the Salmon with Escarole which was delicious and our server Emily was very delightful!! Very nice, young lady. Will definitely be back!
