We would like to thank all of our loyal customers, the Borough of Collingswood , our employees and everyone who helped Casona of Collingswood for the past 7.5 years be the great establishment it was. We're sorry to say we'll be closing for business as of today, October 24, 2013. We're devastated by this and fought the best we could. The problems that the owner, Mark Infantado has suffered from his former partner in 2009 (mid recession) and his two injuries made it impossible for Casona to survive.

I book a New Years Eve party there and we didn't get any service at all. We got there 10pm and didn't eat till like 1 am. It was the WORST new year I ever had with my girlfriend. The place was small and too many old people. The price was not worth it for the food they put out. We paid $50 and got only a small buffet with no drink.

After waiting more than 5 minutes for a member of the staff to greet us as we waited for someone to show us to a table, I walked into the dining room twice. The second time a member of the wait staff said that someone will be there in a moment. Three minutes later another member of the wait staff came by and said the same thing. Then finally she came back and took us to a table. I suppose since there was only two of us she decided to sit us at a table for two even though the dining area was almost empty except for one other party. First the beverage was ordered. Then the waitress returned for our order. She did the basics. Took our order without trying to see if we wanted any appetizer. Finally the food was brought to our table and the waitress disappeared. About three quarters of the way through our meal she appeared and then disappeared almost as quickly. The food was good, but not outstanding. We sat talking to each other hoping that the waitress might appear. Finally my wife went to a male waiter to let him know that we wanted our check. Nothing happened. Several minutes later the waitress came by with our check. I asked if they were short of staff and she kind of said yes and then left. Five minutes later we got up and asked the male waiter to charge our credit card if Casona wanted to get paid for our meal. No tip was left. This was a first for us. We will not return to Casona.
