Enterprise Rent-A-Car

You might notice a number of Enterprise Rent-A-Car open up along the Vegas strip as of February 2022. I believe there's a single business group that is running the different Enterprise locations in hotels along the vegas strip. Some of the hotels include Caesars Palace, Linq, and Bally's. I've booked a couple of times from them and figured I'd share my experience. For context, I have booked A LOT of rental cars during my travels over the past decade.
(1) Based on my experience, the price of the car rentals from the vegas strip was cheaper than the airport, hence, this can be a plus if you just need a car for a quick trip during the day and enjoy lower prices. This will save you on some money and you won't have to worry about hotel parking.
(2) The "sales" side of the Enterprise agent is quite strong. I recommend that you know what you want, in terms of insurance offers, ahead of time. During my encounter, when I told them I had my own insurance, they not only asked for the name of my insurance provider, but also the policy number. I've never had this asked before, but I thought I put it out there so you all are aware of what to expect when booking from this vegas strip Enterprise group.
(3) Lastly, be cautious when dropping off the keys in the lockbox after hours. As you see in the picture I provide, when I went to drop off the keys, the box was, to my surprise, UNLOCKED! I number of keys were wide open and available for someone to take. I had to quickly notify security of the instance which took up quite a bit of time.
In summary, the Enterprise on the vegas strip is a convenient way to rent a car and is likely more affordable than the airport. However, be cautious when actually renting -- the sales person may be more pushy than your normal car rental agent, and make sure the lock box is actually locked when returning the keys. Or better yet, return the car during their limited hours.
