8 weeks of visiting 18 different religious organizations consisting of 8 denominations. Fitting I should find myself writing this review on the 18th day of the 8 month. Then again that is what religion is. A gradual mysterious learning that spawns into eerie coincidences and glorious enlightenment. Overall the most apparent commonality among the all the places visited was that everyone was believed in the same values. While at the same time they were all searching for something to believe in.Although scriptures have been translated for centuries. I believe it can be similar to reading scripted writing versus print. Even though both writings are worded the same, the printed version is often much easier to understand. And that is precisely what pastor Tom Yeater conveys at his gatherings. A combination of modern music and great storytelling mixed in with delightful humor and delicious food. And that is exactly how any religion should be shared. As a willing gathering instead of a required schedule. Some old school scriptures often refer to an old term Blinded by the Light. After today's visit with Pastor Tom and his family I believe a more fitting term would be. Enlightened by the SW Light Baptist Church.
