    I have eaten at this location numerous times. Always finding the service lacking. I am a fan of Dickey's barbecue in general and recommend it often. However this location is poorly managed compared to others. This last time was especially disheartening. My family met up at this location for my wife's grandfather's birthday. After everyone had seated, we waited for our food that never arrived. Other's in our party received their meals. Many other tables food was offered to us, however none were the food we had actually ordered. After 40 minutes I told the staff not to make our food and just give me a refund. After this I was told by the cashier that he needed to call the manager who would be there in ten minutes for my refund. When the manager/owner arrived he completely ignored me and went to the kitchen and started delivering food to tables. Even bringing me food from another table, asking me if I was waiting for order 13!! When I finally had a conversation with the manager/owner he proceeded to blame everything on other people. He was giving me the runaround about getting my money back and telling me that the cashier would have to give me my money out of his pocket. This was very upsetting to me and I slammed my receipt down and told him I wanted him to charge the money back to my debit card. He then proceeded to call me a racist and that I was assaulting his employee and that he could call the police on me. Long story short I feel bad for the employees at this establishment obviously they have not been properly trained and lack any solid management. This business most likely will not be around long with this piss poor owner/manager. Do not waste your money on a horrible experience there. The saddest part is that I truly love Dickey's food. Unfortunately because of this experience I will never eat there again.

    We had a horrible time at this place. The food was obviously pre-cooked and stored in a refrigerator to be warmed up when needed. The meats were completely tasteless. The meats were not true bbq (smoked or grilled) but rather just plain, reheated meats that you can add bbq sauces too.We saw the fries being poured from a bag so they weren't fresh either. The chicken was undercooked and wasn't even warm when we ate it. The sauces were served warm but tasted like they had been out for days.

    After a long day of traveling on Saturday August 17, 2013, we walked over from the nearby Hampton Inn looking forward to some barbecue and beer. We were there at 8:30, and the posted hours showed the place open to 9:00 PM, but locked doors and lights out showed that no one was there. Apparently we were lucky, based on other reviews.

    I am writing this review after several horrible experiences at Dickey's in Fenton, Mo. Not only is there BBQ horrible, but there customer service is even worse. Their BBQ is not smoked, most of it tastes boiled, and their ribs have always been so dry that it is painful to eat. On TWO different occasions (once my husband and once myself) we asked for a separate cup with lid for our sauce. They only provide tiny little plastic cups for sauces, and if you are feeding several people you have to fill up a ton and it is very inconvenient. Both times the service complained about having to walk 10 feet from the counter to the back where the bigger cups are stored to get the extra cup. The first time I actually heard the service say to another worker in the back "Well apparently this lady is too good for the cups out front so I'm getting her a bigger one." That time also, while I waited for my food, I observed an older couple come in to order and the person behind the counter had been sitting at a table texting on his phone close by me, and continued to sit there for another few minutes and made the older couple wait while they finished their texting. It was absolutely disgusting how inconsiderate and rude the service was, and then to top it off the BBQ was less than average. I do NOT recommend this place to ANYONE! There is another location in Brentwood with different owners. This locations is right next to my husband's work and we both eat there weekly. There BBQ is to die for, and there service is above average. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy and will be returning. Totally different experiences.. do not go to Fenton location Dickey's!!!
