Dickey's Barbecue Pit

I am unsure how this location stays in business. We love Dickeys, however, this location is a mess. First off when we walked in to pick up our order there was a very nice older woman standing up front wanting a togo container, she actually had to yell to get them to pay attention to come give her her container. The employees are preoccupied carrying on with each other and dont act like they care if you are there or not. The sauce island was FILTHY. Pulled pork had good flavor but was not pulled, they served it in HUGE chunks with HUGE chunks of fat. We keep giving it another chance at this location and unfortunately we keep having the same experience. I hope management recognizes the problem and fixes it.

I usually go to another bar b que place and swear by their food untill I stopped in here one day. I was so surprised at how good this bar b que was and kicking myself for not stopping by sooner. Great pulled pork, tender and has a really good flavor. I will definitely be going back. Friendly staff.

I love the food here but unfortunately over the last year they have gone completely down hill. The place is not clean, they are always out of foods, and sadly the one taking the orders is the ONLY one up front half the time. I honestly feel bad for that employee that gets stuck in that position. I see employees coming and going as they please along with just walking around the back not doing anything. I actually had a woman come up to the front line with a half put out cigarette in her hand. Not only is this unprofessional but very unsanitary.

I, too, used to love this place and became a regular customer. Then I noticed for a while every time I came, there were different people working, never saw the same person twice. They also laugh and carry on with each other, not attentive to customers, and are often out the back door with it propped open. The pulled pork has gotten steadily fatter and they are just OUT of things, like pulled pork and onion tanglers. The BBQ sauce island was really disgusting looking and pretty empty. I hope they can turn this place around.

This is always great with awesome staff and super prices. I highly recommend eating there too have a free ice cream!
