Not being from STL, I have never been here but when I asked the question all of our friends who are locals said great place but no one had been there in years but they enjoyed the old school steakhouse. So we decided to have a surprise b-day party for a couple of our party of 12. Classic Cocktails and wine menu. Your choice of strip steak or filet. Apparently the fried chicken is good here as a couple of our attendees chose the fried chicken. My twice baked potato and strip steak were pretty good. The people who ordered filets said it was good. House salad with Roquefort cheese was excellent. Service was excellent and needless to say, several of our locals ran into friends they had not seen for years. I know shocking If you have not been there in a while or never dined there. Give it a try. Classic steakhouse with a solid swims, flies, or moos menu. Classic cocktails and who knows, maybe you will run into someone you went to high school.

Consistently the best restaurant we have ever visited anywhere in the country. Food quality, atmosphere, and the presence of George and Steve cant be equaled. Parking: Plenty of close parking.
