Called after wind storm blew up some of our shingles. Sent them a picture of the damaged shingles and they came out and replaced damaged shingles the following day. Service: Roof damage repair

Note - Response is not Valid RJM Roofing - although I appreciate you taking the time to response. Our complaint still holds as is, My mother has $500 worth in paint that she will not need or use because of poor material management on your part. I was able to find a 1 Gallon paint for what you claimed was only available in 5 gallons. On a fixed income $500 just sitting around in paint is not helpful. If you would like to do the right thing, we would like the refund for the paint as stated. Unethical business practices by Owner Robert of RJM. I am disturbed that this owner, a professional in this business would be able to sleep at night knowing that he made an mistake and/or took a shortcut but refuses to the right thing. I would recommend if you need your house painted look elsewhere and read below. My mother contracted RJM Roofing for an exterior paint job of her home in September 2020. She paid for the services rendered in full. At the completion of the job, my Mother noticed she had an extra 5 gallon unopened bucket of paint. Total cost about $500 including taxes. She asked owner Robert to refund the cost of the leftover paint as it was obvious that 1. she did not need 5 gallons for touchup 2. he poorly managed materials needed. Robert refused stated that it was her paint and he had no use for it. I spoke to Robert on behalf of my Mother. As for her, $500 on paint she has no use for is a lot of money as on older person on a fixed income. I asked him why there was so much leftover paint this was a big red flag for me. Robert stated that he couldn't get the 1 gallon in the paint at Sherwin Williams for he bought the 5 Gallon instead. I looked up the same paint using the item number off of the invoice we got from Sherwin Williams from the materials and was able to find the 1 gallon bucket in seconds. Moreover, I spoke to Sherwin Williams and they stated they could have gotten it on special order (Covid-19 had delayed inventory in stock but available online) Robert as an expert, could have either 1. only purchased 1 -5 gallon bucket and notified my Mother that if more was needed he would have to special order it or 2. ordered the 1 Gallon even though it wasn't needed (The measurements of my Mothers house only required a 5 gallon bucket) for touchups in the future. For whatever reason, RJM Roofing owner, took a shortcut and/or made a mistake and is now refusing to correct it. I get it, we all make mistakes but part of being an accountable, ethical business owner is making those wrongs, right. Standing beside your service and ensuring your customer is treated fairly. Considering in this case it means a refund of 6.25% of the total sale, I think that's a small price to pay to make things right.

RJM worked with my insurance adjuster to replace my hail damaged roof in 2012. The adjuster tried to deny half my roof, but RJM showed them where the entire roof had enough damage to qualify for replacement and the adjuster then agreed. It was great working with Robert Messina, the owner, and they did an excellent job. As a follow-up, a couple of weeks ago I noticed a wet spot on the ceiling of one of the bedrooms after a very heavy thunderstorm and contacted Rob. He came promptly to inspect the roof and and found where the flashing needed to be resealed . Even though it was almost 7 years old, Rob resealed it at no charge. I commend RJM for their integrity and customer service.
