I have lived in one of MDA houses for over 3 ears with no issues, always paid rent on time, but decided to move on. The house was left with minimal ware and tare for a single person living there and the company kept up the maintenance over the years. Such as they cleaned the carpets every year I lived there. But somehow I was charged a $300 cleaning fee for the carpets & $300 for a general cleaning fee. During the move out Teresa said wow the house was really clean and it looks great. I received a move out list and nothing was checked besides a wall upstairs that needed some patch work that would need to be redone. The carpets where good to go, no missing blinds, all but minimal ware and tare after living there 3 years and. As they days go by she would email me adding additional items of damage over and over. Once I finally received the rest of my deposit back it was $700 out of $2100. There are things on the list that would need to be done regardless if i had moved out. Such as CLEANING THE CARPETS! I would not rent with this company! They are extremely biased, they will nickle and dime you for every penny until they are satisfied, they will not return calls, and they will cuss and scream at you. So they are not extremely professional, ethical, reasonable, and i will be taking this to court.
