I rarely say something is â€œthe best I ever hadâ€... the Stollen is THE BEST pastry I ever had! Layers of flaky buttery dough and cinnamon expertly baked and topped with sweet frosting and fresh cherry and peach preserves. It took me to a happy place ðŸ˜. Also learned Stollen is a German term for â€œpost -property markerâ€œ also â€œentry to a caveâ€...aptly describing the cylindrical shape of the pastry. Yumpy!!!
