This is such a great place to pick up wonderful, homemade pies, whether a whole pie or by the slice.They carry several flavors of Ted Drewes frozen custard, and have many varieties of some of your most nostalgic childhood candies.

Lots of vintage candy brands. If you're wanting a local place that actually makes their goodies this stop can be skipped.

Santa was here, and he was giving out toothbrushes. Tis the season.
My favorite part of the visit was looking at all the old-time candies that I don't see many places anymore such as Chuckles, Zagnut, Clark, etc. It reminded me of the "penny" candy days from my childhood.
Sugar Momma's is noted for their pies. I had the blackberry cream. They put sour cream in the filling. It has a crumb topping and homemade crust. And fresh blackberries. It was excellent as are all their pies.
A few things I think could be better--I wish they had flavored brewed coffees not just a Keurig maker. I also wish they had some seating so guests could eat inside their establishment as well as getting it to go.
Whenever I go to Hermann, MO, I make sure I stop there for a piece of pie. They have great cookies, too!
