District Flats

Unfortunately had to drop the review significantly because I havent had warm water in 3 months and the cold showers are mad uncomfortable.

Great place to live if you like the following; -Wifi that always cuts out. -Water thats never warm. -Parking thats never available. -Appliances that dont work. -Rooms barely larger than a dorm. However, if you plan to get your homework done or just live stress free, you should probably keep looking. The one redeemable quality is that the staff are nice.

Didnt have AC for 2 months. I had multiple maintenance requests put in, I got a portable AC thing only kept one small spot cool. Then I got charged a crazy amount of money for damages when I moved out. I dispute all of them, some where taken off, some where not. Two years later Im still dealing with it. Even though I kept the apartment in perfect condition, but thats renting downtown for ya.

Apartments are fine, too small for the price but that's downtowns Columbia. However the building management sucks. The manager has a large black dog that is at District Flats constantly. Which is fine except it is poorly trained and aggressive. It often sits in the entrance to the office growling. It has bit at least one person in the elevator. Incredibly unprofessional and just shows the failure of Yugo to hire good management when taking over.
