I'm actually surprised to see so many bad reviews for this location. I came to this location after being treated very poorly at the Kirkwood location. The people that I spoke with were very courteous, and polite. I had to wait, but I came in on a Saturday morning at around 10:30am, and I waited about 15 minutes. Hardly unacceptable. I manage an SEO and Web Design company in St Louis, and have to get glasses once every two years due to staring at a computer screen all day. Very hard on my eyes.
I would recommend the Brentwood location. I would NOT however recommend the Kirkwood location, due to its size. They only have one doctor on staff, which seems silly considering the size of the store. At the Kirkwood location, I called to set an appointment, then was asked to go to another store after my time slot was assigned to someone else.
Opinion about Pearle Vision in general:
I think the selection is good, the store was clean, the people were professional, and what I got for the money was fair. Can't ask for anything more than that. I guess it takes more than one person who is having a bad day to go out and make me leave a bad impression on a business location. Go here, and overall your experience will be what you expect.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE, I had an incident earlier on with this store, even got a response from the Manager, Then Last night I called to order some more contacts, after sitting on HOLD for longer than 2 min, I told the person on the phone what I wanted, and her response was, "Can I call you back" NEVER DID... HORRIBLE Customer Service IDIOTS working there, and all they want is for a person to Spend more...I doubt this will make it to Corporate,But at least I'm letting the public know...

I gave a 1 for quality, since well.. the building's nice and the selection of glasses they have is varied. I actually didn't pay a dime in the store, but was planning to spend about 400 or so after I talk to my insurance and come back. However, once I said, "I'll be back," the attitude completely changed, and they didn't even bother talking to me anymore. Even as I was leaving the door, I asked that they keep my application on file, and they just looked at me in a downcast matter, not saying a word. And no, it wasn't busy. I was the ONLY customer there at 9 a.m. on a Saturday, with one customer coming in as I was leaving... awkward, huh?
I went in because my glasses were twisted a bit (accidentally slept on top of it a bit). I've worn glasses for 20 years and it didn't seem so bent out of shape that nothing could be done, but he immediately said it would break, then proceeded to show me that it would break................ by breaking it, then saying, "see." Didn't even bother asking for my permission. Should've been a warning to back away, but yeah, proceeded until more rudeness compelled me to leave.
Will be taking my business to the other side of the street in Clarkson. Reviews are terrible there too, but at least the manager or whoever has responded back to the reviewers in order to rectify the situation. Just horrible.
I say this in a lot of my reviews, but this business would get crushed in Asia. Hell, my lens/glass places in Korea discourage me from buying the really expensive stuff, since the quality is disproportional to the cost. I expect shadiness and crazy mark-ups in most businesses, but I will not tolerate outright disrespect.
