My 80 year old mother was referred to Dr. Robert T. Watts Jr. due to experiencing a cracked tooth. Dr. Watts Jr. displayed poor concern for a patient in pain and had no compassion. He didn't consider her age nor her medical history and was adamant to suggest she be put to sleep for a surgical procedure that would not be the best of her interest due to her age and medical history. He went on to explain, his credentials of being an oral surgeon for that procedure as to why she was referred. He didn't consider she takes Plavix and has two heart conditions and his main concern was to perform the surgery. My mother knew this would not be good for her at her age and asked if she could have local anesthetic verses being placed under an IV anesthetic, he declined that suggestion and exited the room. Dr. Watts has no empathy towards senior patients and very unprofessional. What medical doctor would insist on performing a procedure with seeing a patient for the first time and not consider ramifications of the patients health. My review will be a zero based on this first impression of his lack of poor judgement and medical ethics.

I found this dentist on line as I was waiting way past my appointment time. His poor reviews made me decide to look elsewhere.

First of all his post-op pain management is barbaric, his office policy states that DEA only allows him to provide 3 days of pain medication, thats a LIE, Ive worked in surgery/recovery & Pain management for a combined 27 years, the regulation is SEVEN days, and when you call the office all youre going to get is.... a nurse telling you, yeah I know youre probably going to hurt for quite a while. If youre being referred, Id shop around.
