Living at Rafter has been a great experience for me. The quality finishes put into the apartments are unmatched with anywhere else I've lived. The amenities throughout the property have been great to have as well. The coffee machine in the lobby is enough to make me want to stay!
I've also really enjoyed the neighborhood. Lots of cafes and restaurants, nearby gas station, grocery and of course easy access to the Mississippi! Nicolette Island and Boom Island Park are great to have within a few minutes walk!

Now THIS is a great rental community and how to create a building full of happy residents!! Super responsive, beautiful spaces, much more authentic staff (lol, my last condo was a joke of a building & experience for far more $$$!). Ive rented quite a bit in the biggest cities in the US (SF, NYC, Brooklyn) and this is by far my best experience. The other developers in mnpls could really take a cue from Rafter (I see you, Ruby/Doran ). Highly recommend!

Let me start by saying I normally don't write reviews. However, for Rafter I need to, now that I've lived here for 9 months. If you want to live in the city, this is the place to be. Rafter has unparallel luxury style living with in a bustling and thriving city. Exceptional staff with one of the best customer service experiences I've ever seen. State of the art amenities and amazing neighbors. Everything you need is at a walking distance.

Rafter, for me, is a gift to myself of: creating a life that I love, (which in my life has been missing a feeling of utter ease and comfort).
Rafter blended the ideas of business and community in a remarkably unique way. Rafter is luxury with a reception concierge, and Four Seasons amenities (top notch gym, dog run, pool, beautiful work and lounge spaces, dog spa, makers room)., It also includes the true important authentic ingredient of a team (Ashley, Tony, Diana, Odyssey and) who is genuine and interested in creating the best for you (whoever you are in a diverse community of Minnesota).
Theyve done a really cool job of infusing elements of Minneapolis and the local economy in a way Ive never seen in a rental community. Its really special with local artists, even down to unique kinds of building materials. The name is even inspired by the local wild turkey population of Minneapolis, while sweetly obviously being the same word as in the rafters (aka part of a building).
In terms of a place to lease an apartment, theyre the top. They genuinely take care of you at application AND months into your lease. Helping navigate and soothe things like credit score and financial structure and confirming genuine welcome for furry friends. Ashley was even going to grant my request to spend an evening at Rafter (in an open unit) before I moved in for a few hours. Id been left feeling haunted by companies that offer a nice feeling tour, but not willing to help after moving in and discovering different deal-breaking feeling things. I didnt even do it, because her offer to indulge was signal enough she cared about my experience.
