Halvorsen Sewer Service

Eric Vonzel is the best! We have used his services for several years now. We have an old home (1920) with a large pine tree growing right next to the sewer line. If we stay on top of it and have Eric come out once a year, as he recommends, and have him clean the roots out of the main sewer line, we have no troubles. If I get spacey, and let it go too long, the sewer line gets plugged up and it's an emergency call. That's what happened this year: meant to call when he sent out his annual reminder letter (with a discount enclosed!), put it off, and two months later we had trouble--sewer back-up on a Friday with out of town guests visiting. Eric was tied up, so called another company. They came out, charged more than Eric does, and did a sub-par job--which we know because we had a back up 3 months later! Called Eric and he made room for us on a Friday afternoon. He used his video camera in the sewer line and informed me that there was no way the other company had really done the job correctly 3 months earlier--roots were too plentiful. He was upset on our behalf and called the other company, whom he knows, and read them the riot act. The owner of the other company then called us a couple days later to apologize and let us know he was sending a refund check. Eric takes great pride in his work, is punctual, an excellent businessman, knows old homes and sewer lines, and he gets the job done well! He is also a super nice human. Eric with Halvorsen Sewer Service is great! We use them on 2 of our properties for routine annual clearing of our main sewer lines to the house. Very reasonably priced, annual reminders with easy scheduling, always on-time and very professional. Wouldn't recommend anyone else!

We discovered our sewer main was clogged, and within 3 hours of calling Halvorsen Sewer we are back in business! They were prompt, clean, friendly, candid, and did a terrific job. The owner Eric answered the phone and was here with his crew helping perform the work himself. He clearly takes pride in the work and strives for repeat customers. I have rarely been so impressed with a service - and will be calling them next time we run into a sewer/drain issue. Services: Sewer repair, Drain unblocking

Eric was great! Halvorsen Sewer was referred to me for my backed up drain. When I called Eric he had a very full schedule but he managed to squeeze me in. Eric and Nick came out and they were professional, respectful, and the area they worked in was left cleaner than when they showed up. Eric cleaned up a mess that another company I used previously had not cleaned up when they were done. I also love that their equipment comes apart so they could move easily through my small home without having to move things around. I was thinking previously about having an outside main drain clean out installed for thousands of dollars because I didn't want to continue to have equipment coming through the house and clunking down the stairs with a disgusting smell throughout my home. Eric showed me it doesn't have to be like that. They were clean, efficient, and very informative. Eric set me up on a preventative maintenance schedule so I can keep ahead of the tree roots in the main drain. I can't say enough about how great my experience with Halvorsen Sewer was!
