The Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown

I was only in the conference room, but the building was cool, food and service were great.

Overall a decent stay. Very unique finishings and fun artwork in the lobby and in the room. I was pretty disappointed with the window in our room just looking out over a large indoor conference room with no view of the outside, which was really odd. There was also a weird stain on our bathroom door, not sure what it was, but it wasn't a huge deal as we weren't touching it or anything. The shower had decent pressure and temperature, but the faucet was loose and you could see into the wall behind it and there was only one setting for a rain-like spray on the head, would've liked something a bit nicer. Overall, I was pretty happy wit the stay.

Extremely convienently located hotel with good rooms. Views are great and the rooms are quiet considering you're in downtown. You pay a little more but it is worth it.

Stay was not worth what we had to pay each night. We could not use our TV over the duration of the stay, as the wifi was so slow that nothing would load on our devices and you have to cast to the TV to watch anything for free (besides a few free channels including the news and a few movies). Additionally, there is no housekeeping over your entire stay, and you have to request any items. There was no room service at the time of our stay, and every time we called from our room, there was no answer. On the first night of our stay, we got stuck on an elevator that would take us to numerous different floor when we wouldnt even click any buttons. We had to get on a different elevator to even get it to take us to the floor of our room. Rooms were clean and nice, but not at all worth what we paid for 2 night. Will not be coming back unfortunately.
