if i could give 0 stars i would. probably the worst person i have ever come across. he speaks like a 14 year old and will get mad at YOU for responding to his texts saying its not appropriate to text him about what he was talking about. he will squeeze any every last penny he can out of you for issues that you did not cause and will threaten you with lawsuits knowing us college students cannot afford proper legal help. also he had someone come and paint over what we suspected to be black mold after i told him i wanted to run a test on it. they came over and entered without our permission. i cannot stress enough how awful and disrespectful of a man he is. he blames everyone he worked with instead of taking responsibility- even the maintenance peolle he hired would tell me how awful he is! we constantly had squirrels running in our walls and getting into the apartment. he never fixed anything and charged us for damage the past tenants caused even when we sent proof during move-in. he is a disgusting vile person who only puts effort into the freund house which he named after himself, of course and event then i have heard living there is a nightmare! enjoy your every move being watched and recorded my his cameras! he sits at his desk watching them on his computer screen all day monitoring and taking notes of what the tenants are doing.  my deepest apologies to anyone who rents from him in the future. prepared to get screwed over. so happy i never have to see his creepy ass face anymore.

Mark is a great landlord. He truly cares about his tenants & tries his hardest to ensure everyone has a comfortable living space. He has semi-strict rules but he clearly communicates them to his tenants the week of move-in (they're also in the lease!!).The house is pretty nice. Rent is reasonable. You get what you pay for!! Overall, I've had a great experience having Mark as my landlord - he's really nice, easy to talk to, and is very responsive!

Mark Freund is the worst rental manager you could ever have. He was rude and demeaning. He treats you like a child and makes sure to put all the blame on you. When you treat him like he treats you, he reverts to his child-like tendencies and starts personal attacks. The guy is socially inept. I have never met anyone who conducts business like this. Now to the house. The house was disgusting. There is mold everywhere, bathroom, kitchen anywhere you can look at has mold. At one time there were about 35 flies flying around the kitchen. This was the worst renting experience I have ever had! He has multiple companies he runs out of so google his office address (1015 University Ave Se Minneapolis MN) so you can make sure you never rent one of his properties.
