Mary Cleary - State Farm Insurance Agent

Let me start off by saying that this office offers nothing but terrible customer service. They are unable to properly file paperwork correctly and will get back to customers' questions and service's when they, the staff member(s), are available. A certain staff member by the name of Elizabeth is rude, impolite, and will do everything in her power to help you with the very bare minimum. I was frustrated towards State Farm and their misinformation given to me and my service advisor at the dealership about parts and pricing and called their office in which Elizabeth answered to tell me that I will have to deal with State Farm myself. I am truly disappointed in this office and their service.

Please do not use this Agent's Office horrible customer service. If I could give a zero star I would. Her staff name Elizabeth is a rude person, always have an attitude. My spouse always told me that if Elizabeth is the person who answers the phone she is always having a bad day. If you get Katie, she is pleasant. I've never spoken to her until today and she is a horrible person who has no training in customer service. If this office employs employees like her, it will not last long. This office consistently will lose your insurance paperwork and ask you to resend copies over and over to be able to create a policy. At this point I don't even know if we have that policy. On top of that, after 4 years of never making any claim, we had to submit a claim due to our truck catalytic converter being stolen. This office was no help. We were always told to call State Farm claims. Everyone at State Farm gave us the round around. State Farm also tried to cheat us by having Toyota dealership provide a second estimate using off-brand products and not Toyota brand OEM. As a MN resident by law Minn. Stat 72A.201, Subd. 6. Minnesota drivers have the right to select the repair and collision center of their choice; No insurance company can require you to give up your choice. You can also require OEM parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer to be used for repairs. Elizabeth at this office was not aware of this MN law! We know she lied because my spouse spoked to her the other day regarding the round arounds we were getting and recited that law. This is the worst insurance claim we have ever experienced. Finally, after calling and speaking to over 7 to 10 agents we finally got a smart claims agent who is aware of this law. After telling her that we know the law about MN residents wishing to only have the shop use OEM products on our car, they realized we were right. It's also listed right on their State Farm website. Our truck has been sitting at the dealership for over a week due to State Farm's cheating ways. Go with other insurance such as Geico or Allstate, much better customer service experience than State Farm. Also, their Agents are more helpful. This office knows nothing but collecting your hard earn money. MN people now your laws!
