I rented the vehicle via an insurance claim w liberty mutual. The coverage time and amount allotted for the rental was verified before securing the vehicle
Unfortunately, I was charged various random weekly amounts without notification to cover the rental which caused fraud alerts. Each time the agent called to update the credit card which is the card was rejected. I would call the credit card company to allow the amounts. Charging the credit card to to 3 times a week is ridiculous especially when the insurance company information is verified and being covered/updated appropriately.
My insurance claim/repairs was over 30 days and instead of extending I opted to return the vehicle due to poor customer service and infinity offered a rental due to unforeseen vehicle repairs.
The agent when returning the vehicle quoted an incorrect amount and stated I needed to call the insurance company for 70.00 that was not paid of the 970.00 that was paid. He rudely stated I would be called w the balance. I was told that random credit card charges occur due to vehicle theft and unpaid balances. This comment was unprofessional and exhibited poor customer service skills. I drive a luxury SUV and all of my credentials were verified and the time of the rental w Liberty Mutual. This comment was insulting to say the least!
I was called w another incorrect balance and was left on hold for quite awhile. I hung up. Days later I was charged randomly another 270.00 without explanation or a courtesy called to notify me of the correct remaining balance. So I froze the account!
My credit card was charged without my permission over 20 times and is still being charged as of today April 10 without my permission but is being declined because the card is frozen !
This is not ok to randomly just charge a credit card on file !
I am a surgical RN and calling me 2 to 3 times a week related to a rental secured and covered by an insurance company is ridiculous!
