Bank has charged service fee on account without notification and no one took care of concern properly. Worst experience. I have never had this experience with any bank. Worst customer care..

Consistently the worst banking experience I’ve very had. From the first day they had all my account info wrong (INCLUDING MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND NAME) and failed to send out my debit card for a month (I had to call to be told it had never been sent out originally) and I am regularly hit with fees (no one informed me on) and which continue to appear out of thin air. This has been the most stressful and difficult time I’ve ever had managing my money using fifth third.
Furthermore their App is absolute garbage. It is advertised as a way to keep track of your money when you get the account. However it will not reflect purchases made for up to a week. I spoke to customer service about this and was met with.
“We are not responsible for keeping track of your money sir”
She even suggested I continue to use pen and paper and don’t even pay attention to the app... fifth third bank really goes out of their way to make banking a fifth third worse.
EDIT: I have had this bank account less than a year and my debit card information has been stolen twice now so it’s safe to say fifth third bank also has the worst security.... literally the worst bank In existence and that’s not even an exaggeration
