I reserved a cargo van on Waverly Rd. Got there and the one they planned on renting to me wasn't there. The agent called Cedar and Jolly and there was a van. Hooray. Very nice employees. at both locations. At Cedar and Jolly location they took $50 off of my bill. I was surprised and happy. My bill ended up being about $6. Now that is what I call customer service. Thank you. Keep up the good work for the 2 employees that helped me. I will be back if I need to do another rental.

I made an appt. for a hitch installation a month ahead of time by calling and speaking with the scheduler. I confirmed the price, location, availability of the hitch in stock, and appt. time/date verbally. Upon arriving a month later I was told that they (Waverly U-Haul Super Center) doesn't install hitches now and that I must have talked to an operator in Phoenix, AZ. While that is true, that operator makes appts. for all the U-Haul stores in Lansing. I never received a call stating the hitch could not be installed (they had my phone number) and drove 30 miles each way to the appt. The agent at the Waverly U-Haul was unconcerned and made it clear that she didn't much care that things had gone wrong. She never apologized for the issue, never offered to see if another local U-Haul could install the hitch, nor did she offer to reschedule me. She just looked behind me for the next customer in line to step forward. I'm not a complainer nor whiner but this was the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
