Auto Owners is rude, will over quote repairs, and were generally unprofessional. I was a customer for years and cancelled my policy. Turns out it was a good thing I did because I am now saving $150/month.

These crooks decided to increase my auto insurance policy by $70 per month. Literally highway robbery. When I called and asked my agent about it, they told me it's due to more people getting into accidents, and the increase cost of auto repairs. Me, as a consumer, can see straight through this utter lie. We all know the executives (Jamie Whisnant) and board members want more green to line their pockets at the cost of regular middle class Americans. I guess their $10 Billion in revenue is not enough for them.
I have been with this company for a number of years, and they have always been easy to work with and kept my premiums affordable up until this point. My credit score is above 800, I have never filed an insurance claim, and have and excellent driving record. I guess none of that matters at all now. Capitalism at its finest.
