Avis Car Rental

Beware the key drop. They have an after hours dropbox, but when I used it, this location didn't check in my rental car for four days. Avis corporate attempted to charge me almost $3,000 and threatened me with criminal action. I'd returned the car on time. Trying to get it straightened out was a nightmare, and the customer service at Avis corporate isn't great to deal with.

They dropped my reservation. Extremely inconvenient being that they never sent me an email stating that it was dropped. I will be sticking to enterprise.

I was here at 1pm on a Saturday, which according to their online and locally posted operating hours means they were open, and I expected someone to be working the desk. This was not the case, so I called their main phone number, no answer. I also called the cell phone number that is listed on the board behind the desk, and it too went unanswered. Guess they don't want any business and I'm glad I didn't give up any money here.
