I can only comment on egress window installation in a basement, 10 inch thick poured concrete walls for a 1960s house. Southwest Windows did a great job on site. About 5 hours for my job, to install egress window with shroud. I reached out to Angie's list to find locals in the area and the those contractors were over priced and more of a sales person. I reached out to southwest directly and got a printed email / phone call the next day. He came out to look at my project request and chatted of his past projects and materials used and type of window he installs for egress and he was very focused on what city zoning to get the correct permit. He was kind enough to pull out my bushes and discard them for no extra charge as bushes were in the area of the window location. We set up a time once the contract was signed and it was about a month later due to previous project southwest had. If you're a flexible customer it will make his time easier, he called to ask if it was okay to bump up the install date due to weather. He came that day and dug, saw cut, French drain, block, install, back full, grade, and lay hay. I took down a part of fence to allow his team and small digger get to the project location on the house. He came back a few days later to do the inside trim with unfinished pine window trim. Southwest took full payment at the end of the job, no 50% at start like other contractors. So don't be a terrible customer and not pay the contract in full at the end. I highly recommend if you need egress windows in your house to be installed. Service: Window installation

These guys came on time and did great work They delivered exactly what was promised for not one penny more than the estimate. They also kindly pulled some concrete out of my yard (including a sidewalk) and disposed of it at no extra charge. This delayed the timeline, and they and stayed late to make sure everything was perfect. There were hiccups that were outside their control, and they fixed them all.
