I would NOT recommend Dr. Gordon to anyone. He has terrible bedside manners! The day after oophorectomy surgery I asked Dr. Gordon what I could expect now after both ovaries were removed. He asked, "Well how do you feel now? That's what you can expect. You'll be dry during intercourse." No reference to hormone changes, hot flashes, or literature to read on the female changes when this surgery takes place. Also, I ended up with a deep infection in the wound site, that he literally used a scalpel in his office to slice down to the infection, squeeze out the nasty stuff and then ordered a "vac pack" unit be installed. I was given no warning or choice of treatment. I now have an ugly gaping scar from the 8 weeks of wearing a vac pack unit on my front below the navel incision. I regret not checking references prior to my surgery. I was vulnerable thinking that I had ovarian cancer and took the first doctor's name I saw.
