Response says it all. Denial. NO SHOW. UNPROFESSIONAL. ARROGANT. Save yourself some headache and stay away from Tub Kote. The owner talks down at you and seems to not appreciate one's business. In the end, problems solve itself - grateful he cancelled last minute.

Brad's REPAIR saved me! One of my bathrooms has a corner unit shower (a molded tray that you stand in, with five sides consisting of two tiled walls and two short glass walls with a glass door between them). Last year the floor cracked where it had been spongy, so my daily shower was instantly out of service. A roofer buddy of mine gave me some super durable caulk like product to spread over it until I could figure out how to fix it. I thought I would need to have the whole thing replaced (for $ thousands), but instead Brad came and repaired the floor (including the spongy spots) and then sprayed the whole base for me with some sort of special paint that looks amazing. Once it dries I'll install the new enclosure. Brad was easy to reach, followed up with a reminder a day before our appointment, and called the morning of since we had a big snowstorm and he was running a few minutes behind accordingly. His work looks perfect, and I was so pleased that I would not have complained if his final price had been higher than the estimate since he did a bunch of extra caulking for me. Brad stuck right with his estimate, which was a pleasant surprise. He cleaned up after his work and was careful in his explanation of how long it would take to dry, when to install the enclosure, and what cleaning products to use in the future. Brad was also fun to talk with; he has an upbeat personality and a great sense of humor. It was a pleasure doing business with Brad and his company! Service: Water fixture repair

Brad was very efficient and thorough in reglazing a larger than normal tub and separate shower. Gave us advice on painting chrome fittings ourselves; those turned out great as well. Very professional work. Answered our email inquiry within minutes of sending and answered every phone call and question quickly. Very pleased to recommend him.

TubKote owner, Brad, has a quality that stands above all in business: honesty. We were more than ready to get our 1926 tub recoated. Turned out the cleaner I had used when we first moved in 4 years created the problem: a very rough and ugly surface that caused abrasions for the lady of the home. To prep the surface, Brad cleaned it and voila! That was the solution. No resurfacing needed. Thanks for being so honest and saving us money, Brad. It's admirable!

Update 10-13-20 Our review had no lies or half truths. I’m confident that anyone that reads my review will see that I do not get emotional, took my time, and state the facts of what happened to us during this unfortunate experience. We are a very fair and kind family, and during our renovation project had overall great experiences with our other contractors. I will also point out that I find it distasteful to accuse me of telling half truths and lies while using the name of Jesus to appear pious and in the right. So hopefully I’m not the only one that is turned off by that. I’m sure as others point out, this team is capable of doing good work. That was not our experience. And it was the rude attitude that was most off putting for us. Especially while dealing with deaths in our family. I would have expected more grace in our rescheduling efforts given the circumstances. Certainly not a good example of Christ like behavior in our experience. Very disappointed. Rude, abrasive, terrible customer service. Linda, came out to do the work about a month ago. She had to “hand roll” our cast iron tub. Mistakes were made which is not the biggest deal. I am happy to work with someone to fix mistakes, as long as they are kind about it. But the mistakes were also not minor. She accidentally painted the no slip sanded material on other parts of the tub, left runs in multiple places, and had a very uneven/inconsistent coating. All of those things were to be addressed today. During the times I spoke with Brad on the phone I found him to be defensive and argumentative. I still wanted to give them a chance to make it right though. Brad was very rude about us having to re-schedule the touch ups a few times. Not kindly taking into consideration: serious illness in the family, having to put our dog down unexpectedly, and having a two year old that Has a schedule to stick to. After all the job could’ve been done right the first time to avoid this inconvenience for us and them. Upon arrival today, he began to inspect the tub as I pointed out what needed to be done, to make it right. Abruptly he stands up with a stomp, and very rudely asked if I’m going to clean the tub. There was some very minimal debris that had accumulated due to other projects going on in the meantime of them returning. They state clearly on the website they clean the tub with their special cleaners. Again, I did not want to have to deal with a return visit either, but was doing our best to work with them. He bluntly states that they cleaned it once already and that I made a mess and should clean it up for them to do the work, (the work wasn’t done correctly in the first place). What kind of customer service is this? I also did not want to make any mistakes in not cleaning it to their specifications. Is it really that hard to clean the tub again to get the job correct for the customer. What happened to polite and kind service. After all we welcomed them back to fix their errors. Very rude, unapologetic, defensive, abrasive. Never use them unless you like okay work, with rude service. So I asked them politely to leave, and will find someone else’s to correct their mistakes.
