Glen Arbor Bed & Breakfast and Cottages

Very pleasant place too stay. Outstanding breakfasts. Visited wineries. Enjoyed the water. Rode a bike. Ate at Blu. Excellent addition to my list of good memories.

Beware... this establishment requires guests to be COVID vaccinated. I refuse to patronize a business that discriminates against an individuals personal health care status. We will enjoy our stay elsewhere in Glen Arbor.

What a wonderful respite these past few days at Glen Arbor Bed and Breakfast. The Good Harbor suite we chose was simply perfect with its private entry and patio. The separate bedroom and living quarters made it easy to sprawl out and make it home. But beyond the living arrangements - the breakfast was way beyond all expectations and simply phenomenal! Innkeeper Laura immediately made us feel as if we had known each other for years. And her breakfast preparations went far above and beyond anything we had ever experienced. Her concept of combining sweet with savory was most definitely on point. Both of us being sweet tooth fanatics already, made us crave the sugary deliciousness even more. (If you've ever wondered what it would be like having cake for breakfast... Ask about her blueberry French Toast and Laura can most definitely help satisfy this quest.) The B&B is centrally located to the many shops, galleries and restaurants. The very short walk to the beach is also a huge plus as well as the beach chairs and beach towels she has available for use. One of our favorite places at the B&B, however, was just sitting outside on the front porch chatting with other guests or just watching life pass by. In fact directly across the street is the one and only grocery store for miles. As such, this store was constantly busy from open to close. It even inspired a poem. If you ask her about it, I'm sure she'll share it with you. Whatever the most amount of stars is given for the highest rating, add 5000 more and then just maybe it will be correct. Money well spent here. We're definitely coming back.

I had an amazing stay. The bnb is a stones throw to a refreshing beach and swimming as well as all of the shops and restaurants glen arbor has to offer. The beds and pillows were comfortable and Laura, made the entire process very easy. I appreciated that she communicated with me via text on the day of our arrival and throughout. The breakfasts were certainly a highlight as well. So great!

This may be an historic inn and right in the middle of everything Glen Arbor, but Innkeeper Laura is the treasure. Her breakfasts are simply to die for, every suggestion she made is spot on, and you can't help but smile along with her bubbly personality. We will be back if for no other reason than to enjoy the crepes she's going to make with her new crepe maker!
