We just got back from making the Michigan Loop, staying at Bed & Breakfasts along the way. Sylvan Inn was our favorite! It was quaint, rooms were very clean, loved the delicious breakfast on the HUGE front porch every morning & it is centrally located. The Innkeepers were very nice, responsive and would stop and chat for a bit too!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sylvan Inn! The new owners who took over in May are wonderful. They truly went above and beyond in every way. If we needed anything, we just asked or texted. They respect your space if you want peace and quiet, but are also willing to stop and chat if you’d like to connect or ask for a local dining/activity recommendation. The room was clean and comfortable for our family. It included a queen bed, pull out sofa, table and four chairs, a kitchenette and space to move around. We were offered the choice to have breakfast in our room, on the porch or in the gathering room at the large table. (Every breakfast was delicious!) The bed and breakfast is centrally located and is equally perfect for couples as it is for families. We will certainly be back!
