It is said that in life there are only two sure things: Death and taxes. Well, whoever came up with that clearly never purchased a home. Strife, stress, and anxiety throughout the process of buying a home should be added to that list. They are unavoidable for everyone, but what makes a difference is a realtor who can support you through the process and be exactly who you need them to be at exactly the right times. This was Katie Varney for us. Over the course of 4 months from the first time we looked at houses, to getting our keys to our new home Katie was our saving grace. My wife and I turned to each other regularly to express our gratefulness that we chose Katie as our realtor. She advocated on our behalf in countless disputes with the seller, visited the property when we couldn't be there in person, met us at a moment's notice to ensure we were represented in any conversation with the seller, and was a shoulder to lean (and occasionally cry) on whenever we needed her. Katie never made us feel like we were just part of a business transaction for her, but rather that we were friends. And part of that friendship came what I believe is the most important quality for a realtor: trust. We came to trust Katie at every turn to represent our needs and objectives.
We feel so fortunate to have gotten to work with Katie. Without Katie I can say with great confidence we would not have made it through the process of buying our home. She is truly the best of the best.
