Suzanne Nissen worked with me on the sale of my residence in Needham in August 2019. The sale occurred at a time when market conditions were soft, and I needed to have the sale handled in a relatively short time-frame. Suzanne came highly recommended from a local attorney, and proved to be more than capable for the job. In addition to providing careful research on market conditions, including local transactions and bid history on neighboring houses, Suzanne spent a good deal of time making helpful recommendations on how best to stage the house for sale. A broker's tour and open house, coupled with a carefully researched pricing strategy, helped create an active series of bids that exceeded stated pricing objectives and met my timing requirements. Suzanne also proved to be invaluable during the negotiation of the purchase and sale agreement and related inspections. Being a lawyer myself, I always appreciate it when a broker shows skill in managing the parties through questions and snafus during the inspection process (and, yes, we did have our share). I was impressed both with Suzanne's technical knowledge of the issues that came up and her ability to encourage all parties concerned to a constructive transaction closing. My husband and I searched for the right Realtor for a long time because we really felt we needed someone we could trust and we sure did find that in Suzanne! She was amazing from the start, giving us clear and useful information about the housing markets in the towns we were interested in trying, and she helped us narrow it down to the right towns and the right neighborhoods. She was professional, calm, patient, dependable and HONEST and we really appreciated her honest input and feedback. Her energy was unending. Once we found a house she was masterful during the whole offer process, which is not for the faint of heart - it's a very competitive market and she had exactly the right strategy and knew just how to handle every step of the process like a pro! And then the most important thing is that she was on top of everyone and everything all the way to the closing. She never let details fall through the cracks and she never "checked out:".
