Outstanding electrician. The entire team is friendly, professional and great to work with, from quotes to scheduling, to the actual work and payment. They do projects big and small, and weve already referred them to our neighbors. Thank you to Tom, Cindy and especially Kevin and Brent, our electrician and helper, for all their great work on our house.

My experience with VMA electric was calling to get an idea of replacing a few light fixtures.  I had no idea if the electrical wiring to the outside needed to be repaired but was quoted a price which I thought was an estimate because clearly the project would be more/less expensive based on what the electricians found.  Even the invoice said "estimate" so having not hired may electricians I was under the false impression that the work would be based on the time spent.  The work went quick and completed under two hours which I again falsely believed was well under the over $500 dollars they billed.  So, the owner informed me I was completely wrong, and I did not sign an estimate but an agreed upon price.  I was really disappointed because there was no issues with the electrical just needed to place new fixtures and I paid an arm and a leg for their time.  No consideration that it only took them 1.5 hours but hey "YOU signed a contract right".        I guess lesson learned and I paid this contractor but felt like I was raked over the coals.  The young electricians did a fine job although were quite messy and did not remove some items that were left on the ground.  I guess mostly it was my fault for not understanding how these businesses function or signing what I thought was an estimated cost.  I would not use this contractor in the future.  Also, very defensive when I discussed the "contract", but I think the owner felt better having educated me that it was completely my misunderstanding and I was wrong.
