After providing Mr Pittol with professional plans for the renovation of our home on Cape Cod we received a price and a schedule both, of which we agreed to, in particular as Mr Pittol told us that he would complete the work in "Eight weeks with eight men. I have a 25 man crew". That was the first of many and constant lies that resulted in our dismissing this company after 11 months of missed deadlines, poor quality and a general lack of concern or effort for our project. This despite making timely payments and allowing his subcontractors to reside in the home. Lack of payments to subcontractors resulted in some actually coming to us for payment on work they performed. Pittol went through two electrical contractors and three siding contractors. We were then informed that we had to buy materials on our credit in order to continue. We soon knew that the company was generally dishonest and was way over it's head skill wise. Eleven months later with the loss of summer use and rental opportunity we were forced to dismiss Pittol and complete the work ourselves at great additional expense. As senior citizens we were taken advantage of and we write this review in hope that it does not happen to others. But we doubt that. We would recommend that you stay far from this company.
