This week end we 4 went to have lunch. There was no buffet and quantity was meagre. Tadka Dal was horrible. Dont ever enter this place. You can as well go to Moody street in Waltham and enjoy the options And it CLOSED --- good riddance. I wonder if it has re-incarnated under a different name but the same management and cook(s)

Went here 6 years ago. The food was decent although the service was unfriendly. Here's the kicker. I ordered a black coffee which was a ripoff at $4. The mug they gave me was super small; I finished it in under 2 minutes. The waiter seemed to have a kettle of black coffee so I asked him for more. He refilled my cup several times. Then the bill comes and I'm shocked to see they charged me for like 5 coffees. I paid for the 5 coffees and vowed to never, ever, return. Now I go to Royal Indian Bistro, down the street. Food is better, service is better, and they don't try to nickel and dime you.

The man who greeted us was grim and seated us in a dingy, harshly lit corner when there were plenty of nicer tables next to the windows. I can only guess this was because we were dressed casually after a long day in the city. I got an 'uppity' vibe from some of the staff. Others were friendly. The food was very tasty and in generous quantities, which was a plus, even though the tandoori was overdone. It was difficult to enjoy the food and the experience when we felt unwelcome.
