Ipswich Clambake

Every time my Husband and I go to Ipswich Clam Bake, the food is phenomenal, cooked the way ask. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone whom likes seafood! 5 Stars to them

Ipswich Clambake offers consistent and *YEAR-ROUND* New England seafood classics. You can eat in or take to go (during the pandemic they adopted curbside pickup service - give them your order and card number by phone and theyll come out to your car with your food). Their service and promptness is excellent whether eating in or taking out. And theyre open year round AND take credit card!! Who else can say that? Their clam chowder is great, as are all the fried seafood items (though I tend to order the shrimp most).

Shawn and I shared his last fried seafood meal before he goes back to USC..Chowda & Clams, Scallops, house cut FF and Onion Rings! 10 out of 10, everything was off the chart! Service was outstanding and they cooked my French Fries crispy! Give the wife a break and the family a treat and go to Ipswich Clam Bake.its that good! Food is really good ! Very high quality. When placing an order on the phone, they will ask for your credit card information , so if you have cash, you have to go into the restaurant to place your order. This has happened to me several times. They also ask if you would like to leave gratuity , and I find that awkward . I am a generous tipper when I go out to eat.m, but don't understand the need to tip for takeout, but then again I feel pressured to say yes when they ask. I wish they would not do that. Nonetheless. The food is fabulous !
