Booked a room months ago for a wedding. It was the only vacancy in the area on the nights we needed. I thought it was odd we hadnt gotten any check in or confirmation info so I followed up to confirm 6 days before, the owner replied that yes the room is reserved all good. I emailed again day of to let him know we wouldnt be able to check in until about 8:30pm. Now no answer. We get there right as I said about 8:30 and there is no one there to check us in. I called the number listed probably 12 times, and emailed again and got nothing. We called around and there were no vacancies elsewhere so we had nowhere to stay. I am a pretty easy customer when it comes to just about anything and I really hate leaving a bad review, especially for a small business.. but when I book a hotel room the single most baseline and important feature I expect is that it will be there when I need it. Go ahead and book, the place may be nice, but make sure you get check in instructions and something in writing confirming your stay.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Babson Court several times when we would come visit my in-laws, who lived in Gloucester and owned a jewelry business. We always loved staying there and especially loved the room with the loft, where our daughter would play. Highly recommend, the muffin bunny was always a delight! Sadly my in laws passed, so we havent been to visit since 2010. Hoping to come stay again soon.

Stayed one night at the Inn at Babson Court. Donald (the owner) is very nice. You absolutely couldn't have a better view from any room in Gloucester! And, the muffins are outstanding! Can't beat the price either!
