I went here not too long ago and they almost called the cops on me.They said there were no rooms for rent but this place has a ton of rooms and it looked to me like there were only two people there, a vegan and some guy who writes books.I'd give this place ZERO STARS but there were a bunch of animals there and I like animals.

From Steve and Sharon Gallagher---What a wonderful B & B. We loved the view, the food, and the hosts! They were very accommodating and welcoming!! You will not be disappointed!!

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. We booked this hotel MONTHS in advance before our August 8 stay using hotels.com. 72 hours before we were supposed to check in, we get an email saying that the hotel can't accommodate our stay. Are you kidding me? 72 hours before, they pull this b.s.? When I called, I was told that the hotel was overbooked. If I booked so far in advance, why is it that MY reservation the one that could not be accommodated? HORRIBLE professionalism, do not stay here. What kind of a business cancels like this at the last minute? Get your s*** together, Charles Hovey house. Clearly, you have no idea how to run a business. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Attempted to book through booking.com and they couldn't book me even though the credit card details were fine. Instead of contacting me they just gave the room away last minute. Might be a nice place to stay but these guys are clearly lacking in competent staff

This place has a lot of potential. But does not seem ready to be open. We were greeted by a closed gate, cluttered house with rooms dingy and not prepared for guest. The big miss was the staff and their behavior caused us to leave.
