b.good, you be so good to me. Real talk: I've never spent a dolla of my own $$ at b.good. If you download their app and join their "Inner Circle" they just send you stuff! Fo' free! So far I've gotten 2 smoothies (strawberry-banana and Lucy Blue), a roasted pumpkin shake (seasonal), a side of crisp veggies (pretty large portion, served warm with a refreshing lemon wedge), and a cup of 4 bean chili. Everything has been ready pretty fast and of good quality, but PUMP UP THAT PUMPKIN SHAKE. They blend local, roasted pumpkin with fall spices and Toscanini's vanilla ice cream (arguable the best ice cream in the city). It's thick, creamy, and autumnal in all the right ways. Like sipping cold Thanksgiving heaven through a straw (sans all the fam drama and tryptophan). I wish I could experience this elation all year long! The service is generally friendly and helpful. When I ordered the vegetarian chili, I asked for none of the toppings (cheese, sour cream, etc), and the server asked if I wanted bacon or a roll for no extra charge instead. I declined, but it was a nice, unexpected gesture. b.good, you're just so gosh darn good. I may actually buy a real meal next time! Note: some of the other b.good locations in Boston are now serving breakfast, but it hasn't come to Harvard yet. Hoping it will soon! Breakfast is great in general, and I'm sure b.good would only make it better.
