Cold Comfort is A+. They installed a new A/C and heating system. Their bid was a significantly better deal than the competition, which enabled me to select a top of the line Lennox system, which came with an additional rebate. Gabriel, the owner, is great to work with and willing to answer many questions. John and the rest of the installation team did great work fitting the system into a compact townhouse laundry room. Can't say enough good things about Gabriel and team! We've worked with Cold Comfort 3 times now -- once for a heat pump and a/c unit replacement at a previous residence, and more recently to replace our water heater and then do a full system replacement of our heating, cooling, and all ductwork, which was a really large project. Things that stood out: 1. Gabriel genuinely cares about making the customer happy. We noticed a temperature difference in one pocket of the house after the work was finished, and Gabriel and a team member came back - free of charge - to make adjustments. He also took the time to help us understand an underlying reason why this was happening (unrelated to Cold Comfort's work) so we could address the root cause. 2. They give you options. Gabriel quoted us multiple iterations of our project with various products and spent a half hour on the phone with us making sure we understood the differences. They're not loyal to one brand and pushing it -- they want the customer to have the right product to meet their needs. 3. They keep their word. The rebate Gabriel quoted was no longer applicable, and instead of telling us to eat the cost, he cut us a check for the difference. That was extremely impressive to us. 4. They're clear communicators. We left town for a few days while the project was happening, and we got photo/progress updates at the end of each day from Gabriel. (All unprompted by the way.) We knew how they were progressing and exactly what to expect with the finished product. In short, this is a fantastic company with solid people. Highly recommend.
