Top. Top. Top top top. When you're at sleep inn it's toptoptop. Plus the name is very clever, or it would be if checkout was like 4pm. Who wakes up before noon and says "I slept in today"? My dad and I were down that way to visit a sick family member and I said I would take care of the hotel. When we arrived I was so embarrassed this was the location I chose. It's absolutely filthy in every square inch of the building. The entryway, the hallways, the lounge furniture, the rooms. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and the curtains. Grubby handprints on every surface. There was food crusted on the desk. There was stains on the walls, ceiling and door and even the sheets. It's very evident that housekeeping changes the sheets but does very little else. The manager was very nice when I asked to check out early and did refund for the second night we did not stay but honestly upset I spent $110 for the one night we did stay. I refused to shower there or eat anything from the facility. The whole hotel smelled like mold and very heavy cigarette smoke. I could not wait to get out of there.

It was quiet and the bed was fairly comfortable, but there was a complete lack of upkeep: torn and scratched furniture, holes in the quilt, towel rack torn off the shower door and lying on the floor, mold inside the shower door, tile off the wall and lying on the floor, stained room carpets, hall carpets that had not been vacuumed maybe in weeks, stained and ragged furniture in the hall entryway that looked like it had been scavenged from rubbish. They said that they were remodeling, but that is no excuse for a lack of cleaning and upkeep.
