Twin Maple Outdoors

My father-in-law and I booked an ice fishing trip with Rich in early March and had a blast. We stayed at the lodge which was impeccably decorated and clean. The hospitality Rich showed to us during our trip was amazing, and we feel like we have a friend for life now. I would definitely recommend Richs guide service and lodge to anyone interested in a great trip!

Driving down the dirt road it hits you that youre almost here. As you keep driving you start to realize this is just like heading to the hunting camp back home. As the time passes and google directs to you turn right into the drive you understand that this will be a once of a life time experience. Rich walks out to greet you and it feels as though your saying hello to a long lost friend. This is how it all starts but not how it all ends. You should book a trip with Twin Maple and write the rest of your own story.

Spent two days smallmouth bass fishing on the Penobscot River with my wife and Rich. We also stayed 3 nights at the Twin Maple Outdoors lodge. Everything was wonderful from Rich guiding the fishing by giving tips, techniques and his knowledge of the river can almost pinpoint where to cast the fishing lures for a guaranteed catch. Rich grilled burgers for a shoreline lunch and pointed out wildlife along the journey to each fishing spot. The area of the river we fished is beautiful and was secluded as we only saw 3 other boats while on the water. The lodge is modern new construction with the rustic north woods decor. Id recommend Rich for your fishing, hunting or other outdoor adventures. We didnt know Rich prior to this trip but he treated us like weve known him for years and will definitely be back to fish with him on our next trip to Maine!

My family and I had a great time with Rich in late June / early July 2022. The lodge was very comfortable and private and was on the same property as Rich's family home. The property itself is beautiful, you can tell Rich and his family put a lot of work into it! We went fishing one day and on a moose safari the next day. Being novice fisherman, Rich was patient with all of us (all age groups) and made the trip a lot of fun. We had "success" on the moose safari and spotted a moose first thing in the morning (definitely worth the 4am wake up call!). Driving the logging roads was fun and interesting and we got a great view of Mt. Katahdin and a delicious lunch grilled up by Rich. Hope to come back for another adventure!
