        Went out of our way to visit this place on a Saturday night and despite opening hours on their website and google suggesting otherwise, it was closed. No explanation on the door and no warning on social media beforehand. Super bad practice for a restaurant.

        The crab cakes are a must! I stopped eating crab many years ago but these taste better than the real thing! This is truly a plant based restaurant as opposed to super processed vegan food. So manage your expectations. At the same time though, Im not sure why my meal was called a lasagna. There were no obvious layers and tomato sauce would have been great. The texture was grainy (peas could have been soaked more?) but it tasted good. Just not a lasagna. The server was nice, the place was clean and it was nice to visit another part of New Orleans as well.
