        Was in town for Jazz Fest and checked out this food truck parked right by King and Queen Emporium on Bayou Rd. Ran into an old friend who was already posted eating their vegan chicken tenders and offered me one with buffalo ranch and it was delicious! I decided to try a vegan chicken sandwich dressed with slaw: the texture was great and the flavor with the fresh slaw was really satisfying. I also tried their mac and cheese and I savored every bite. The service was also excellent: the staff is kind, responsive, and fun to talk to. Definitely check out Flippin Birds when you're in New Orleans! Vegetarian options: vegan chicken sandwich, vegan chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and hand-cut fries
