One of few remaining Radio Shacks in the area; this location is on BUSY BUSY BUSY Magazine St in Uptown NOLA.
A store that sells & houses mobile phones, wireless devices, remote control cars & the like; I guess like all other retail establishments, it too is feeling the effect of ONLINE SHOPPING.
I can remember coming in here hairy eyeballing cellphones & saying "I can't wait until I get older..."; only to now BE OLDER & not even set foot in the store because of other avenues available to purchase cellphones.
When I have been inside, I've always found the store employees to be friendly, helpful & ready to assist with my purchases.
Located on Magazine & Washington, trying to park to dart in & out is NOT fun!!! Beware of the lurking meter maids, as they will catch ya off guard & ticket your car, if you haven't put money in the meter/parking machine, which I highly recommend. Try parking behind the store in the shared parking lot, small spaces, but it beats a parking ticket any day.
