I recently had a reservation (made over a month in advance) with the hotel for Memorial Day weekend and they canceled it just days before my booking! I managed to find another place but obviously at an exorbitant price, given the holiday weekend. Hotels often give away their rooms to rewards members who want to book at the last minute. Whether it was the hotel or booking company (snap travel), shame on both of you! Clearly the communication was poor and I was stuck footing the bill.

We recently stayed at the Royal St. Charles in New Orleans and we had a great time. The location is perfect being one block from the French Quarter and close to everything. The room was very clean and comfortable with minimal road noise below. The staff was very attentive and having the PJ's coffee shop in the lobby was a big plus for us coffee addicts! Would definitely stay here again!!
