OK. Here's the lowdown. I do weights and cardio. Place is too small. I was doing bench, and at the same time smelling the guy's armpits next to me working out his shoulders. The weight room has only one cable machine. So when it gets busy...means you have to wait...behind 2 or three people every time. Management here said A new one would be aqcuired A year ago..BS. They have TV's but don't have ESPN. really? You get 2 lame channels...rerun news and home shopping network. For the most part the staff doesn't really care when there is A problem. Let me repeat, they do not care.

I joined with a basic membership at $10 a month which was supposed to allow me access after 7am. Over and over i would show up at 8:15 or later in the morning only to discover i was locked out. At leaast 3x a week there would be no staff there so either a hesitant customer would have to let me in or i had to give up and leave. I mentioned this to the manager many times in which they assured me that they would have someone there but the problem continued to happen again and again. I finally spoke to the only employee i ever saw there that i wanted to cancel and left a note for the manager (rarely saw them) to please cancel my membership and why i was not coming back. Well 3 months later i get a letter from a collections agency for just over $60. They have my phone number, email address, and mailing address but i guess they are not concerned with letting you cancel. It is really sad that this is the way they choose to do business but i imagine most people wont stay a member with this type of treatment so they have to rip people off. Dont join this gym unless you want to be ripped off... I would give them 0 stars if i could. Oh, and when i did actually get in to work out the eqipment was old and lousy.

I've noticed the two reviews bellow are nearly a year old. I have too strongly disagree with their opinions. Everything that you need to get a good workout is available for you in a very clean environment. It has great free weights, circuit training equipment, and the cardio equipment is in good working order. Also the staff is very helpful. I've never been to a place where the staff was ready to drop literally whatever they are doing to spot you, or help take you through a workout. Maybe they have come under new management since those two reviews have been written. When I signed my membership agreement the employee showed me everything, and even more, everything was written on the agreement. It has the best price in town, I've checked. Furthermore the gym is clean, great equipment, and has helpful staff. I would recommend this gym to anyone in the Covington area.
