Shandies

Wow, nice place. Great food. I was told it was by a family member but I expected it to be so-so and figured maybe the price and atmosphere played into the flavors, so to speak. No disappointments. Yes, a bit higher priced but the food went an extra mile to taste good. I would stop again!

I hope Shandies opens back up after the pandemic. Would be a shame to lose such a great little restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back when they hopefully reopen.

We walked over from the National Quilt Museum. Good beer, good service, excellent food. My wife loved her Moroccan chicken, was really taken with the spices. I had the meatloaf hoagie; superb meatloaf and really stuffed into that roll! Sangria vinaigrette on my salad was light and tasty.

Food was good, especially the ketchup/sauce.. The ambiance is even better! The staff were so hospitable and kind as well! We got burgers and soup and loved every minute of it

We were seated right away but waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged at table. Ordered drinks from the bar...another 15 minutes before we got them. Ordered a lemondrop cocktail and the bartender coated the rim of the glass with salt instead of sugar. Ordered the ribeye steak and pork chop. Pork chop was dry and although I realize that ribeyes tend to have more fat, which adds the the flavor, the steak I got was 80% fat, 20% meat. Just gross. My dog enjoyed my $28 steak later that night. Waiter brought us bill with an extra item on it (fish n chips) so I had to call it to his attention and get it taken off bill. I don't recommend this place unless you have a TON of time and are a patient person who has a hankering for a big glob of fat on your plate.
