Walker & Thornton Transmission

if I could give this place a 0 stars I would! My car's transmission went out and they "fixed" it once, then less than 6 months later it went out again. They gave a 12 month warranty, so we took the car back to them. 2 weeks went by with no phone call. We go to the office to see if we can get a progress update and THE WHOLE BUILDING was empty and my car WASN'T there. Everything was gone, wiped clean. Took us an additional 3 weeks to find out via Facebook to figure out where they took my car without our notice! Get to the new shop and its abandoned too! Thankfully my car was there and in the same condition, no working transmission but not wrecked. Another couple visits later we meet the landlords for this property who tell us to just take the car home because this guy has basically just dumped all the cars here and left without paying their rent. Never did hear back from Walker & Thornton Transmission and had to take my car to another Transmission repair place. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

Repaired my minivan. Took 2 weeks. Try to charge me for work I didn't approve. Gave me a warranty. Took it back 10 months later within warranty. It sat for a week before they started work. Everything time I ask about the car, they said next week. The parts are in but it will be next week. The transmission is on the bench, it will be next week. Sometimes they don't answer the phone. I have to go to the shop to find out what going on with my car. Frustrated, we asked the owner when it would be done. He said he didn't know. It would done when it gets gone. It's been a month. My transmission is still on the bench. I've called a lawyer and the police station. Terrible service and attitudes.

Love the guys that work at Walker & Thornton... Friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and genuine family run business. As a youth minister, my funds are tight... They have always been the best priced repair shop for our needs!

Truck gas been there multiple times for warranty work been getting the run around for almost 2 months. I've been lied too multiple times when my truck was going to put in the shop and when I was going to have it back. Been with out a vehicle for 2 months now. Terrible service, it's like they have no clue what they are doing.
