In 1986, founder and owner, Britt Thompson, RPh first opened Thompson Discount Drug on East 4th Street in London, Kentucky. His goal was to provide our community with exceptional pharmacy service, at an affordable price. Throughout the next decade Thompson Drug's business continued to grow.Thanks to our loyal customers, in 1996 Randy Windham, RPh joined the Thompson Drug family and opened a second location in downtown London. Our business continued to expand and two years later Randy's wife, Chris Windham, PharmD also began working as a pharmacist at Thompson Drug.Throughout the ensuing years, our business has continued to thrive and we now have 5 locations throughout the London/Laurel County area with 3 additional locations in Annville, Burning Springs, and Kingston and offer a variety of services to meet your every pharmacy need. Whether it be custom compounding, flu shots, or prescription delivery service, at Thompson Drug we are here to serve you.And now over 25 years later the family tradition continues as both Britt and Randy have children who have followed their footsteps into the pharmacy profession.
